Help and FAQ

Everything you need to get into your account and find your way around Klaxon. If something here does not answer it, there is a contact line at the bottom.

Getting in

How do I sign in?

Klaxon uses one-tap links instead of passwords. Click Log in at the top of the site, enter the email you signed up with, and we send a sign-in link to your inbox. Open that link on the same device and you are in.

The link works once and lasts 15 minutes, so open it while it is fresh. There are no passwords, so there is nothing to forget and nothing to reset.

I can't get in. What do I do?

Request a new link. Go to the login screen, enter your email, and we send a fresh one-tap link. That is the whole recovery process. If the last one said it had expired, it just sat too long or was already used, so request another and open it right away.

If the link does not arrive, check three things: that you used the same email you signed up with, your spam or promotions folder, and give it a minute. If it still does not show up, use the contact line at the bottom of the page.

How do I change my sports, teams or handle?

Open your account from the menu under your name at the top of the site, then choose Edit sports, teams and handle. Pick the sports you follow, set a team for each if you want, and change your handle. Save, and your dashboard updates to match.

Plans and pricing

What do I get for free?

The live dashboard is free forever, no card required. That is live scores, standings, leaderboards and brackets for the sports you follow, the rolling news feed with every item linked straight to its source, on this day in sport, and the Heather's Take ticker on every page.

Heather's daily video recap is live here now, free to watch. Free is a full seat in the stands, not a locked demo.

What is the Private Box?

The Private Box is the first paid seat, at $6.99 a month or $59 a year. It adds My Board, so you can arrange and save your dashboard the way you like it, page by page.

It also unlocks Heather's written takes and analysis on the sports you follow, refreshed daily, plus the daily recap and a dedicated recap for each of your sports.

What is the VIP Suite?

The VIP Suite is the top seat, at $14.99 a month, $149 a year, or $499 once for life. It has everything in the Private Box, plus the full Klaxon analytics engine on the sports you follow, the injury desk and the transfer wire, and The Breakdown, a video where Heather walks through the numbers.

It also makes it personal: a daily read on the teams you pick, and the VIP Lounge, a members-only room on the site with your founder badge on.

How do the three seats fit together?

Think of it as one grandstand. General Admission is free and gives you the live data and the daily video. The Private Box adds Heather's full analysis and a dashboard you can rearrange. The VIP Suite adds the deep analytics, your teams, and the members room.

Each seat contains the one below it, so you never lose anything by moving up. You can follow your sports and teams on any of them.

What is the founding offer?

The first 100 members on each paid seat lock a lower price for life. The Private Box founding rate is $4.99 a month and the VIP Suite founding rate is $11.99 a month, held for as long as you stay a member.

Billing is not switched on yet, so right now you pre-register to hold your founding spot, and your price locks in when membership goes live.

How do I cancel?

Billing is not switched on yet, so there is nothing to cancel today. Once membership goes live you will be able to manage or cancel it from your account in a couple of taps, and we will spell out exactly how before anyone is charged. The stands are always free if a box is not your thing.

The daily show and takes

How does the daily Heather video work?

One flagship video a day, from Heather, leading with your sports and rounding up the rest in the same clip. It sits at the top of the home page and every sport page, so it is the first thing you see. It keeps playing as you move between tabs.

It is her read on top of the data: the one thing the table is hiding, and what it actually means.

What is Heather's Take?

Heather's Take is her short, opinionated read on what the numbers are saying, running as a ticker on every page for free. On the Private Box and VIP Suite, that opens up into her deeper written analysis on the sports you follow, refreshed daily.

Is Heather a real person?

Heather Quinn is an AI-generated anchor, and we say so up front. She runs on frontier-grade intelligence, and every word and every take is human-reviewed before it goes out. The opinions are hers; the accountability is ours.

Your dashboard

Can I arrange my own dashboard?

Yes, with My Board, which comes with the Private Box and the VIP Suite. Open a page, hit Edit, then drag the panels into the order you want or hide the ones you do not use. It saves per page, so each sport can look the way you like it.

A few blocks stay fixed by design, like the daily video, the news feed and the deep analytics band, so the layout can never end up broken. On the free seat the dashboard shows in our default order.

Why are some numbers blurred, and how do I turn them on?

The blurred tiles are the deep Klaxon analytics, which are part of the VIP Suite. You can always read what each metric is, since the title and its simple explainer sit above the blur, so you know exactly what you are unlocking before you pay.

To turn them on, move up to the VIP Suite from the plans page. The moment you do, every tile clears.

What is the VIP Lounge?

The VIP Lounge is a members-only room on the site where you can talk sport with everyone else in the suite. It comes with the VIP Suite, and your founder badge shows next to your handle if you joined in the founding group. It opens with the founding members.

What the numbers prove

What do the Klaxon analytics actually tell me?

They cut past the standings to show who is genuinely good and who the table is flattering. The Klaxon Power Rating ranks who is truly the strongest, not just who is top. Regression Watch flags who is running hotter than they can keep up and who is quietly better than their record.

Strength of Schedule shows who has had an easy run and who has a brutal road ahead, and Deserved Record sets the record a team has earned next to the one it actually holds. Each metric explains itself in one simple line right on the tile.

What are the per-sport metrics?

On top of the shared engine, each of your sports gets its own reads. F1 has the Klaxon True Championship, which shows the title race if every car had made the flag, plus teammate and racecraft measures. Baseball has the one-run record and how a team does against winning sides.

Football brings expected goals over and under, the record against the big clubs, and home and away form. It is the number that sport actually turns on, in simple words with no math to wade through.

Email and account

How do I stop the emails?

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you are off the list on the spot, no sign-in needed. If you would rather keep your account but pause the mail, you can also do that from your account settings.

I still need a human.

If nothing here sorts it out, email us at [email protected] and we will help. Use this as a last resort. The one-tap link handles almost every sign-in question on its own.
